Whole lupins are very high in protein (around 30%) and so when feeding the whole grain, quantity fed should not exceed 2kg maximum for a 500kg horse per day.
Do not feed lupins whole to horses, soak it or use processed lupins such as micronized lupins or crushed lupins.
